Carondelet Catholic School is a special place. You see it in the faces of our students. You feel it in the enthusiasm of our faculty and staff. You hear it in the voices of our volunteers. And you experience it in the warm and welcoming embrace of our parent community.

We are a school with a rich tradition of academic excellence and community service. As you explore everything Carondelet has to offer, we invite you to visit our two campuses; meet with our faculty; attend our events, games and prayer services; and see firsthand how we are preparing another generation of children for a life of learning and service.

8th Graders Advance
to Regionals for
National History Day

Save the Date for
the 'Pops & Lollies'
Dad/Daughter Event

Students Donate
1,500 Sandwiches for
Homeless and Hungry

Over the past several months, CCS 8th graders have been busy preparing for History Day. A total of forty-seven projects were judged in four categories: Exhibits, Documentaries, Performances, Papers and Websites. Eleven of the projects have advanced to regionals on March 15 at the University of Minnesota. Over the past several months, students have conducted research that included visiting museums, libraries and universities; conducting personal interviews with professors, scholars and field experts. The project is overseen by Carondelet history teacher, Alex Rome and ELA teacher, Vicki Paine.

Carondelet dads and daughters, save the date and mark your calendar for Carondelet's annual Pops & Lollies dance on Saturday, May 19 from 6:30-9:30 pm in Carondelet's Lower Campus gym! This always-popular event will include dinner, desserts, beverages, photos, dancing and more! Tickets are just $60 per family and can be purchased here.

Students in Carondelet's Destination Imagination program organized a special service project for the homeless and hungry of Minneapolis this past Friday, February 23. Students from the Upper Campus worked in shifts to make sandwiches for the homeless. The service project was organized by Carondelet's fourth grade Destination Imagination team. The team also prepared hygiene kits and care packages that were delivered with the sandwiches by Allan Law, aka "The Sandwich Man" a local good samaritan who started the non-profit 363 Days Food Program. The project is a great example of service and leadership of our CCS students. Giving Matters!
